It was so damn hard to not rip the towel off of her and explore everything we so clearly both wanted right now. I’d helped Victoria bring all the supplies in and distributed them to the different bedrooms in the house, besides the clothes for Alexandra. Those were all waiting in the living room for her until she and Elwin were done and we could access her closet.

Right as I’d decided to back off, her stomach let out a rumbling gurgle, making us both laugh at how damn loud it was.

“Let’s go join the others and get some food for you,” I suggested, holding my hand out for her, accepting that we had our entire lives ahead of us to enjoy each other. There was no way I was going to rush the things I had planned for her body.

As she placed her small hand in mine, I reveled in the beauty of this delicate woman who had claimed our souls. I’d say our hearts, but I had a feeling that wasn’t what we possessed. It felt right to say she was our soulmate instead. It was the only way to describe the way in which we challenged each other and brought the best out of each other.
